Breeding Program
At Royal Brace Llewellin Setters, we are dedicated to preserving the time-honored heritage and remarkable temperament of the Llewellin Setter — a dog bred for both the field and the family. Each pairing in our program is carefully chosen to strengthen the breed’s instinct, intelligence, and affectionate nature, ensuring every pup carries the hallmark grace, grit, and loyalty that define a true Llewellin.
Our current dam, Jewels, embodies everything we love about the line — keen in the field, gentle at home, and beautifully balanced in form and spirit. We’re thrilled to announce that new pups are on the way, continuing this exceptional bloodline.
Every Royal Brace pup is raised in-home with daily care and early socialization, preparing them for a lifetime of devotion — whether they’re flushing birds in the uplands or resting faithfully at your feet.
Field-bred for the hunt. Heart-bred for the home.
PURCHASE INFORMATION
Thank you for your interest in Royal Brace Llewellin Setters. Below you will find important information regarding our upcoming litters, the application process, and how to reserve a puppy from our breeding program.
The first step is to complete and submit the Puppy Application by filling out the Information Form on our Contact page. Once your info and application has been reviewed, we’ll contact you to schedule a brief phone consultation to discuss our dogs, your home environment, and what you’re hoping for in a Llewellin companion.
Our goal is always to ensure the best possible match between each puppy and their new family. Because we receive many inquiries throughout the year, this process helps us take time with each placement and maintain the integrity of the Royal Brace line.
A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required to secure your place on our puppy reservation list for a specific calendar year: current year, one year ahead, or two years ahead. Deposits are tied to that year’s planned breeding season, and placement within the list is based on the date of deposit and approval of your application. Puppies are placed on a first come, first served basis once approved.
While litter size, gender ratios, and timing vary year to year, we occasionally have last-minute puppies available. We encourage interested families to reach out whether you’re looking to bring a Llewellin home soon or planning for the future.
Every Royal Brace pup is bred for the field, raised for the home, and placed with intention.
